About Mike

Mike Huot brings over 20 years of litigation experience to KazLaw. He previously worked as a Crown Prosecutor with the Special Prosecutions Unit, notably serving as lead counsel for the criminal negligence prosecution in the Queen of the North B.C. Ferries case. He has extensive trial experience and has lectured on courtroom advocacy at legal conferences. Born and raised in North Vancouver, he is involved in community work, including directing the Hooplaw Charity Basketball tournament. He is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Law Society of Alberta, the Vancouver Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
