About Miguel

Miguel A. Martins Pereirinha is an immigration lawyer and partner at Slayen Immigration Law. He advises individuals, families, and businesses on temporary and permanent immigration matters, including LMIA based and LMIA exempt work permits, spousal and dependent applications, study permits, visitor visas, and permanent residence through Express Entry and Provincial Nominee Programs. He also handles inadmissibility, restoration, and procedural fairness matters, and supports employers with Labour Market Impact Assessments and TFWP compliance. Before entering private practice, he worked as a case manager for a Member of Parliament, handling immigration and refugee matters for constituents. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2021 and is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Immigration Lawyers Association. He is fluent in English and Portuguese.
