About Joshua

Joshua Slayen is immigration lawyer of counsel to Parr Business Law, called to the bar in North Dakota before being admitted in Ontario, Manitoba, and British Columbia. He graduated from law school in 2009 with distinction, earning a gold medal. His practice covers the full range of immigration matters, including admissibility issues involving misrepresentation, criminality, security, residency, and detention, along with work permits, employment, investment, humanitarian and compassionate, and family sponsorship applications, labour market impact assessments, and litigation before the Immigration and Refugee Board and the Federal Court of Canada. He is known for accompanying clients to ports of entry across Canada to help resolve admissibility issues.
