About Joel

Joel Diakow practises general litigation, including will variation and trust claims, elder law, and family law, along with estate planning, wills and estates, real estate, and business transactions. He was raised in Langley and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Simon Fraser University, working as a legal assistant and real estate conveyancer before attending law school. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia, and was called to the bar of British Columbia in 2015. He has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia and is a member of the Fraser Valley Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association.
