About Michelle

Michelle Willette is a partner in Cox & Palmer's St. John's office, practising management-side employment and labour law on behalf of provincially and federally regulated employers. She was admitted to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 1999 after completing her LLB at Dalhousie University. Over 25 years of practice, she has advised employers in public health, social enterprise, municipal government, and post-secondary education, and has appeared before administrative tribunals and all levels of court in the province, as well as the Federal Court, Trial Division. She chairs the firm's Employment & Labour Practice Group in St. John's and sits on the Disciplinary Panel of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
