She helps clients with tax-advantaged estate planning, including drafting wills, trusts, and related documents, and has worked on estate administration matters ranging from $200,000 to $800 million. Her corporate work includes incorporations, shareholder agreements, and ongoing governance for owner-managed and family-owned businesses, along with real property transactions from single residential deals to larger commercial matters. She earned her JD from the University of New Brunswick in 2019 and a BA (Honours) from Mount Allison University in 2016, and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2020. Madeleine holds the TEP designation from STEP and serves as program chair for STEP Atlantic and executive chair of the CBA Nova Scotia Wills, Estates and Trust Section.
