Michael Steele is a senior associate whose tax practice covers the domestic and international tax sides of mergers and acquisitions, private equity deals, corporate reorganizations, and public debt and equity offerings. He also advises global private investment fund sponsors on fund formation matters and has experience representing institutional investors, including Canadian pension plans, in their investments in private equity funds worldwide. Michael completed a clerkship at the Tax Court of Canada, is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation, and has finished all three parts of CPA Canada's In-Depth Tax Course.
