About Amanda
Amanda Heerschop is a personal injury lawyer who has spent her career helping clients who suffered serious injuries in motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, defective products, and assaults. With more than 17 years of civil litigation experience, she handles complex liability issues and catastrophic injury cases. Since joining Goodman Elbassiouni LLP in March 2020, she has brought extensive experience in accident benefits, bodily injury, and long-term disability claims, representing clients before tribunals, WSIAT, provincial offences court, and the Superior Court of Justice. Amanda earned her LL.B. from Queen's Law in 2001 and was called to the Ontario Bar in January 2007 after articling with a downtown sole practitioner. She previously taught legal administration courses to aspiring legal assistants and law clerks, and she studied political science at the University of Calgary before law school.
