About Michael
Michael Katzalay is a litigation lawyer with a broad practice spanning corporate and commercial litigation, insurance litigation, disability claims, personal injury litigation (ICBC claims), gaming and entertainment litigation, and product liability matters. He has managed complex, multi-party disputes at all levels of BC courts and has acted for corporations including Volvo Truck Corp., Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, Hastings Entertainment and Air Canada, as well as individuals in the entertainment industry. He holds a 'distinguished' Martindale Hubbell peer-reviewed rating. He was called to the bar in 1983 after graduating from the University of British Columbia Law School, and practised for over 20 years in the Vancouver office of a large national firm before moving to a specialized litigation firm in 2014.
