About Samuel

Samuel Dobbin is an associate in Osler's Technology group, with a corporate and commercial practice that centres on technology work. Before pursuing law, he completed a co-op degree in Mechanical Engineering, which gave him experience in the technology and oil and gas industries. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, competing on the national level in the Harold G. Fox IP Moot as well as the Jessup International Law Moot, and provided research assistance to Professor Poonam Puri on securities law and corporate governance. Samuel began at the firm as a summer student in 2021, then returned to complete his articling term through 2022 and 2023. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association.
