About David
David Plunkett specializes in construction law, professional liability, corporate-commercial, employment and insurance law matters, including defending professional liability claims against architects, engineers, accountants and other professionals, and representing contractors and owners in commercial construction disputes. He previously worked at a specialist construction and insurance law firm in Vancouver, where he led the firm's construction group. He was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2002 and holds a Bachelor of Laws from UBC (2001) and a Bachelor of International Relations from UBC (1998). He is Vice Chair of the Executive Committee of the National Construction Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association and a past Chair of the BC Construction Law Section.
