Wills, Estates & TrustsBill Piercey practises civil litigation, including commercial, employment, real estate and estate litigation, personal injury, and wills and estate administration, and has appeared before all levels of court in Nova Scotia. He earned his Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from Dalhousie University in 1969 and 1971, was admitted to the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society in 1972, and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1988. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Atlantic Trial Lawyers Association. Outside his legal practice, he is President and CEO of Piercey Investors Limited, a local real estate development company, and has served with the Boy Scouts Association, the Rotary Club of Halifax, the Royal United Services Institute of Nova Scotia, the Army Museum in Halifax, and Bethany United Church.
