About Alanah

Alanah Josey is an associate at Pressé Mason, currently on maternity leave. Her practice covers estate planning, real estate, and litigation, and she has appeared at trial and appellate courts throughout Nova Scotia as well as family court in Alberta. She studied law at the University of New Brunswick, where she worked as a research assistant, teaching assistant, and student intern at the Nova Scotia Supreme Court, winning the Legal Writing Prize and the Barry Morrison Prize and graduating on the Dean's List. She was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2019. Alanah has published peer reviewed articles and case commentaries on criminal law and evidence topics, including work with RobsonCrim and CanLII Connects.
