About Merella
Merella Botros is an associate with a broad insurance defence practice at DWF, covering complex bodily injury, property, and professional liability matters. Before joining DWF she practised personal injury law at a prominent firm, experience that taught her how to build a case from the ground up and identify the evidence needed to strengthen it. She has acted as co-counsel on a successful jury trial verdict and takes a big-picture approach to assessing the strengths and weaknesses of each file. She has been recognized as a Best Lawyers 'Ones to Watch' in Personal Injury Litigation for two consecutive years. She holds a B.A. (Hons.) from York University (2014) and a J.D. from the University of Windsor (2017) and was called to the Ontario bar in 2018.
