About Glen
Glen Perinot is a lawyer and trademark agent whose practice centers on technology and intellectual property. He has represented clients before the Federal Court of Canada, the Ontario courts, and the Canadian Trademarks Opposition Board, and he advises start-ups and small businesses on protecting and enforcing their IP. His work covers copyright, trademark, and patent disputes, trademark prosecution and enforcement, franchise litigation, technology licensing, and the enforcement of foreign judgments in Canada. Glen has also been interviewed and quoted by publications including the Globe and Mail and Marketing Magazine on technology and IP topics. He holds an M.Sc. in Molecular Immunology and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry, earned his LL.B. in 2003, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2004. He is a former Treasurer of the Toronto Computer Lawyers Group and belongs to the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada and the International Trademark Association.
