About Melissa

Melissa Prada articled at Damien Frost & Associates LLP and joined the firm as an associate after being called to the bar in 2022. She has drafted submissions to the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee and the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board, defended professionals before Discipline Committees, and helped clients navigate insurance fraud investigations and other white-collar matters. Melissa earned her J.D. from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, where she worked in the Tenant Division of the university's Community Legal Clinic and with its Employment Insurance Litigation Clinic, assisting with residential tenancy issues and Social Security Tribunal appeals. Before law school, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, with a minor in political science, at Toronto Metropolitan University.
