About Melissa

Melissa Miraula practises civil and commercial litigation, joining LCM in 2022 after five years at a boutique litigation firm. Her work covers shareholder disputes, financial services matters, contractual disputes and civil liability, and she also practises construction law. She represents clients in court and works toward practical solutions to avoid or resolve disputes. She holds an LL.B. and a Juris Doctor in common law from the Université de Montréal, along with a bachelor's degree in international relations. She has published and spoken on business-law topics, including standardized contract clauses, and supervises pro bono files at the firm.
