About Mathilde

Mathilde Simard-Zakaïb practises civil and commercial litigation, joining the firm in 2021 after articling there as a student. Her practice covers estate and trust litigation, construction and employment law, and she often works on complex, multi-domain files. She has represented a shareholder in an arbitration to force a share buyback, a public figure in a defamation claim, a trust company at a lengthy trial against a former business partner, and a multinational company in a multimillion-dollar dispute with a general contractor. She holds an LL.B. from the Université de Montréal and was on the Dean's List in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
