About Jean-Philippe

Jean-Philippe Abraham is a senior lawyer in Lavery's litigation and dispute resolution group, based in Quebec City and Trois-Rivières. He practises mainly civil and commercial litigation, including shareholder disputes, breach of contract, liability, injunctions, and security enforcement, as well as construction law, real estate, and bankruptcy and insolvency, and pleads before all levels of court. Abraham was called to the Quebec bar in 2008; before joining Lavery he worked as a lawyer and partner at a major Quebec City-area firm and as director of legal affairs for a large private construction company. A former professional football player, Abraham combined legal studies with a high-level sports career.
