About Mélanie

Mélanie is a lawyer in the firm's Moncton office whose practice focuses on estates and financial matters, including estate planning, probate court applications and representing executors and trustees in the administration of estates and trusts. She also has significant litigation experience. Before joining McInnes Cooper, she practised in Alberta, where she built substantial court experience, and she is a member of the Law Society of New Brunswick and the Law Society of Alberta. Mélanie holds the TEP designation as a full member of STEP Canada, having completed the STEP Diploma program, reflecting expertise in inheritance and succession planning. She earned her J.D. from the University of Alberta and a B.A. from Dalhousie University, and has been recognized locally with Community Votes awards for estate law in Moncton.
