About Matthew
Matthew Tse is an associate at OKT's Toronto office, where he is building a broad practice within the corporate group. He previously articled at a national full-service firm in Toronto, working on aboriginal, energy, environmental, real estate, land planning and litigation files. Matthew holds a Master of Laws from the University of Toronto, where he served as a Faculty of Law Fellow studying the relationship between Canadian and Indigenous legal orders, and he earned his Juris Doctor, Bachelor of Civil Law and Bachelor of Arts from McGill University. At McGill he was Managing Editor of Rooted, the school's Indigenous law journal, and Director of Business Operations at Compass, a legal clinic for startups. He has published several peer-reviewed articles and remains active in the academic legal community. Matthew is licensed by the Law Society of Ontario and belongs to the OBA's aboriginal law section and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers. He has also competed as a lacrosse player in the 2018 and 2023 World Lacrosse Championships.
