About Matthew

Matthew Cino is a civil and commercial litigator known for his calm, steady approach with clients going through stressful proceedings. He took an unconventional path into law, working as a high-performance trainer for OHL hockey players before moving to the UK to complete his law degree. In his first year of practice, he played a key role in winning a lengthy and contentious fraud arbitration, an early highlight of his career. Matthew's practice spans administrative and regulatory law, civil and commercial litigation, construction law, and employment and labour law. He earned his BSc with honours from McMaster University in 2011 and his LLB from the University of Southampton in 2014, and was called to the bar in 2016.
