Matt McCarthy is an associate in Stewart McDannold Stuart's litigation group. Before joining the firm and relocating to Vancouver Island, he articled and practiced civil litigation with a regional firm in Calgary, representing clients in labour, employment, environmental contamination, property damage, construction and personal injury matters before courts and tribunals in BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan. McCarthy earned his JD from the University of Alberta in 2020 and was called to the Alberta bar in 2021 before transferring to the British Columbia bar in 2024.
