About Matt

Matt Ford grew up in the Ottawa area and earned bachelor's and master's degrees in science before attending the University of British Columbia's Faculty of Law, graduating with a Juris Doctorate in 2010. He moved to Kamloops to article and was called to the bar in 2011, becoming a partner in 2014. Matt has represented clients before the BC Provincial Court, the BC Supreme Court, the BC Court of Appeal, and the Federal Court of Canada, with a practice focused on estate litigation, personal injury litigation, criminal law, and employment law. He has been quoted in AdvocateDaily.com on topics including B.C.'s wills law and accident benefit rules. He belongs to the Trial Lawyers Association of BC, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Kamloops Bar Association.
