About Tara
Tara J. Decker was born and raised in a farming community in Saskatchewan and moved to British Columbia to attend law school at UBC, where she met her husband before returning with him to his hometown of Kamloops. She articled with HMZ Law, now Zak & Decker Law, where she continues to practise insurance litigation, personal injury, employment law and estate law. She has been a guest lecturer at Thompson Rivers University's Faculty of Law and has spoken to brain injury organizations and medical residents on various topics. She serves on the Interior Health Authority West Clinical Ethics Committee and has been president of the Kamloops Brain Injury Association.
