About Lyle

Lyle Backman has practised litigation in Kamloops for close to five decades, appearing at all levels of court. His practice today centres on business and commercial disputes, complex arbitrations, and mediations. He has also advised on local government matters, including municipal negligence and public communications issues, and has presented at legal conferences on these topics. Backman serves as an Associations Governor for the Law Foundation of British Columbia and is active with several bar associations.
