About Matt
Matt is a member of the firm's Real Estate, Wills & Estates, and Family Law groups, practicing since his call to the Ontario Bar in 2017. As a real estate lawyer, he advises individuals and business owners on residential and commercial purchases and sales, title transfers, leasing, mortgage transactions and real estate development. In his wills and estates practice he drafts Powers of Attorney and Wills tailored to each client's wishes, and he also advises on family law matters, including as a qualified Collaborative lawyer. Matt earned a B.A. Honours in Political Science from Huron University College at the University of Western Ontario, an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Toronto, and his J.D. in Common Law from the University of Ottawa in 2013. He is an active member of Collaborative Practice Ottawa, the Carleton County Law Association and the Canadian Bar Association, and has spoken at the Carleton County Law Association's Annual Family Law Conference.
