About Marni

Marni Outerbridge is a lawyer in SV Law's Guelph office and a member of its Employment Law, Civil Litigation and Condominium Law practice groups. Her work touches employment agreements and policy drafting, dismissal disputes, human rights complaints, occupational health and safety issues, and internal workplace investigations, with a focus on resolving matters efficiently, whether through negotiation or litigation. She also works with condominium corporations and property management companies on staffing matters involving building superintendents and related personnel, helping boards manage workplace risk. Marni counsels senior employees on matters like employment agreements, severance and dismissal issues, bonus questions, career transitions and retirement planning. Originally from St. John's, Newfoundland, she has lived and worked in Guelph since 2005. Marni earned a BA with honours in legal studies and philosophy from the University of Waterloo and her JD from the University of Windsor's Faculty of Law, and was called to the bar in 2018.
