About Marlene
Dr. Marlene Shiner has practiced family law for more than three decades, guiding hundreds of individuals and couples through the legal, financial, and emotional challenges of separation and divorce. She holds a PhD in Law from Cornell Law School, where her research examined divorce and family law. Having experienced divorce personally, she brings a deep understanding of what families go through during separation, and she has come to believe that how clients approach divorce often matters more than the divorce itself. Where conflict arises, she is a determined litigator with a strong record of advocacy in Ontario courts.
