About Amal

Amal Sidrah Nayyar practises family law and received her LL.B. with Honours from Nottingham Trent University in London in 2010, along with a B.A. with Distinction from Mount Royal University in 2002. She earned her Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation in 2012, after working with law firms and charitable organizations providing legal services in Calgary from 2010 to 2012, including experience with the Alberta Justice and Solicitor General. She joined Nanda & Associate Lawyers in December 2012, completed her articles there, and has continued as an associate. She has represented clients in Small Claims Court as well as before the Ontario Court of Justice and Ontario's Superior Court of Justice, and she regularly appears on behalf of clients in the Brampton, Milton, and Toronto courts. She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association, and several other professional associations, and she speaks Urdu, English, Hindi, and some Punjabi.
