About Harminder
Harminder S. Dhillon is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and practices mainly in family law, where he pays attention to the cultural context when arguing and settling custody and access disputes. He also serves as a legal member of the Ontario Review Board, which has jurisdiction over people charged with criminal offences who are found unfit to stand trial or not criminally responsible because of mental health disorders, and which oversees their treatment, rehabilitation, and reintegration into the community. He sits on the Legal Aid panel for family law matters and is active with the Peel Law Association, helping ensure that legal issues facing the South Asian community are addressed. He earned his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School and holds an M.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Engineering from Punjab University.
