About Mark

Mark Virgin has been recognized by his peers in Best Lawyers in Canada for his work in insurance. He has extensive courtroom experience, having conducted numerous jury and judge alone trials as well as appeals, and has represented clients in serious personal injury claims including fatalities, brain injuries, psychiatric disorders and catastrophic orthopedic injuries, along with contested liability disputes. Mark has acted for people injured in slip and falls, motor vehicle accidents, sexual assault and medical malpractice claims, and disability claims. He also works as a mediator and arbitrator resolving civil disputes. He received the Canadian Bar Association's Community Service Award for his charitable work. Mark holds a B.A. from Western University, earned in 1986, and an LL.B. from the University of Victoria, earned in 1991, and is licensed to practice in Alberta, Ontario and British Columbia.
