Civil Litigation & Dispute ResolutionMark Tector practises employment and labour law, advising clients on employment agreements, wrongful and constructive dismissal claims, human rights, workplace investigations, policy reviews, collective bargaining, arbitrations, and occupational health and safety matters. His clients span sectors including IT, retail, health care, not-for-profit, manufacturing, transportation, mining and energy. He has represented clients before all types and levels of court, arbitrators, boards and tribunals, including a Nova Scotia case in which a claim of negligent infliction of emotional harm was struck against an employer, and a Nova Scotia Court of Appeal case on mitigation in wrongful dismissal. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2002 and the Nova Scotia bar in 2004, and earned his LLB from the University of New Brunswick in 2001 and a BA from Mount Allison University in 1997.
