About Mark
Mark Lancaster has practiced in the Calgary legal community for 20 years, working in family law after earlier experience in a mixed family and criminal law practice and as in-house counsel for a professional regulatory body handling administrative law matters. He returned to focus exclusively on family law in 2011 and has appeared before regulatory tribunals, the Provincial Court, the Court of King's Bench of Alberta, and the Alberta Court of Appeal. His practice includes contract negotiation, prenuptial and marriage agreements, matrimonial property and separation agreements, mediation, and judicial dispute resolution, along with litigating high-conflict matters at trial and arbitration. Lancaster holds an LL.B. (2002) and a B.A. in Political Science with honours (1998), both from the University of Calgary. He was called to the Alberta bar in 2003.
