About Mark

Mark Birdsell is a partner at Beard Winter and a member of the firm's Insurance Litigation group. He represents insurers in disputes involving product liability, subrogation, occupiers' liability, motor vehicle accidents, commercial general liability, errors and omissions, and property damage, and he also works as a mediator. Mark received his JD from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2009 and was called to the bar in New York in 2010 and in Ontario in 2011. Before joining Beard Winter, he practiced at a boutique insurance litigation firm in Toronto. He focuses on taking proactive steps in each file to put clients in the strongest possible position, whether that means settlement or moving toward trial.
