About Mariana
Mariana Attia practises in several areas of insurance defence, including sports liability, construction, hospitality and liquor liability, bodily injury, commercial litigation and cybersecurity matters. Her background spans both defence and plaintiff-side work, giving her a broad perspective on the files she handles for insurers, corporations and individuals. She has represented clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Small Claims Court and various regulatory bodies and tribunals. Mariana earned her J.D. from the University of New Brunswick in 2022 and a BA from York University in 2018, and she was called to the Ontario bar in 2023.
