About Maria

Maria Koroneos has provided legal assistance to unions and their members since 2003, advising on labour law matters including workers' compensation and human rights, primarily through written advocacy while also representing clients before administrative boards, tribunals, and the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Before joining Koskie Glavin Gordon in 2016, she was an associate with two other boutique labour law firms and worked as a legal representative with CUPE, and earlier practiced as a legal aid lawyer and supervisor of the North Shore Community Law Office. Maria has taught in the paralegal program at Vancouver Community College for more than five years and is co-author of a business law casebook used in post-secondary courses for over a decade.
