Grande earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Winnipeg (1988) and her LL.B. from the University of Manitoba (1991), and was called to the Manitoba bar in 1992. She was a sessional lecturer at the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law from 2001 to 2010 and has mentored articling students at the firm since 2004.
