About Margaret

Margaret Anne Walsh is a partner in Stewart McKelvey's Charlottetown office, called to the Prince Edward Island bar in 2008. She advises business owners, property developers and commercial lenders on mergers and acquisitions, owner-managed operations, and the transfer of land and other assets, with clients ranging from small businesses and sole proprietors to insurance companies. Her work includes securing commercial loans for crown corporations and major Canadian banks, negotiating business purchases and sales, and estate planning for business succession. Walsh holds an LLB from Dalhousie University (2007), a BEng also from Dalhousie (2003), and a Diploma of Engineering from St. Francis Xavier University (2000).
