About Edith

Edith Szilágyi is a family lawyer with experience before both the Provincial Court and the Supreme Court of British Columbia, handling parenting arrangements, child and spousal support, property division, and other separation-related matters. She moved to Coquitlam, BC as a teenager, then completed her law degree in Australia and was called to the New South Wales Bar in December 2009, beginning her career as a criminal lawyer with Aboriginal Legal Services before practising children's, family, and victims' compensation law at NLS Law. She returned to British Columbia in 2010 and was called to the BC Bar in May 2014, later opening her own practice in Port Moody in 2016. Edith has also served as a practice advisor at the Law Society of British Columbia and as a staff lawyer at Seniors First BC.
