Marc C. Denhez is a retired associate at Gibson Tanner Rabin LLP and a bilingual lawyer and mediator in land-use planning matters. He was called to the bar in 1978 after earning an LL.B. from the University of Montreal, and is retired from the senior management group of the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General, where he served on what is now the Ontario Land Tribunal. Over his career he advised all ten provinces on planning law, worked on assignments in 14 countries including at UNESCO's Paris headquarters, and chaired a national task force on the residential renovation industry. He has published more than 250 works in seven languages and is the author of a book on Canadian housing.
