About Maggie

Maggie McCann is a criminal defence lawyer practicing in association with Lyttle McGarry Del Greco LLP. Originally from Ottawa, she studied at Dalhousie University in Halifax, earning a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience before completing her law degree at the Schulich School of Law with a certificate in criminal justice in 2021. She articled at Bayne Sellar Ertel Carter before returning to Ottawa and joining Lyttle McGarry Del Greco LLP in 2022. Her practice covers a wide range of criminal matters, including assault, sexual assault, theft and fraud, firearms and drug offences, and impaired driving, and she has also worked alongside senior counsel on major files such as homicide and sexual assault. She accepts clients through both legal aid and private retainers.
