Paul Mantini is a partner at Bennett Jones LLP whose practice covers commercial real estate, corporate and commercial lending, project finance, infrastructure, and gaming law. He has worked on the development and financing of major Canadian projects such as the Toronto Eaton Centre, Toronto-Dominion Centre, Brookfield Place, Royal Bank Plaza, and Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort. Paul has been involved in some of the more innovative real estate financings in the country, including early pension fund debt guarantees and the creation of REITs and property investment funds. He has also acted for lenders and joint venture partners in the restructuring and CCAA proceedings of several major real estate developers. He writes on real estate, leasing, financing, and gaming law, and he sits as a director of several private corporations and charitable organizations. Paul belongs to the International Association of Gaming Attorneys and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
