About Madina

Madina Abdi is an associate at Carbert Waite LLP, currently on maternity leave. She graduated from the University of Calgary's Faculty of Law in 2017 after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society with a silver medallion for highest distinction in the program in 2012. Before joining Carbert Waite, she worked at an international firm practising corporate securities with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and corporate governance. She has been recognized in Best Lawyers in Canada's 'Ones to Watch' list for corporate law and securities law since 2022, and has spearheaded fundraising for the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation.
