About Samerah

Samerah Borhot received a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Political Science from the University of Calgary in 2006, graduated from the University of Alberta Law School in 2011, and was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2012. She has practised in the community of Inglewood since the beginning of her career, drafting wills, enduring powers of attorney, and personal directives, and handling probate applications, adult guardianship and trusteeship applications, and estate litigation, alongside corporate and real estate law work. Before becoming a lawyer she owned and operated a small business in Calgary for 10 years and taught preschool. She belongs to the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Calgary Bar Association, and serves as a board member of the Jack Long Foundation and the Alexandra Centre Society.
