About Mackenzie

Mackenzie is a member of the firm's Indigenous Peoples and Environmental Law practice groups, focusing on environmental protection and stewardship, community initiatives, and resource management. He earned his Juris Doctor and undergraduate degree from the University of New Brunswick, where he co-chaired the Indigenous Law Students' Association. Mackenzie's professional experience includes summer positions with the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General and a local Indigenous community organization, and he completed his articling term with Legal Aid in Newfoundland and Labrador. He is originally from Charlottetown in southern Labrador.
