About Aisha

Aisha is an associate in the firm's transactions group, practising primarily in corporate and commercial law, real estate, and wills and estates. She advises startups on structuring, option plans and shareholder agreements, and supports corporate transactions including financings, mergers and acquisitions, and reorganizations. Her real estate work includes residential and commercial financing agreements and conveyancing, and she also advises on wills, powers of attorney and personal care directives. Aisha obtained her LLB from Igbinedion University and her BL from the Nigerian Law School, both in Nigeria, and holds an LLM in International Commercial Law from Brunel University in the UK. She is active with the Canadian Muslim Lawyers Association and the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers, Nova Scotia Chapter.
