About Ludmila

Ludmila Lupu joined Henriquez Avocats as an articling student before becoming a lawyer with the firm. She immigrated to Quebec in 2015, holding a Bachelor of Laws from the Free International University of Moldova and a master's degree in European Union law from Spiru Haret University in Romania. She completed her equivalencies at the Université de Montréal and entered the Barreau's professional training program in 2021. Before immigrating to Quebec, she worked as a legal advisor for the Ministry of Justice of Moldova for more than nine years, gaining experience in legal research and drafting. She has also studied at the Estonian School of Diplomacy and completed training courses in Japan, the United States, Greece, Lithuania and Belgium. She provides legal advice in English, French, Romanian and Russian. Her practice covers family law matters such as divorce and child custody or support requests, and immigration law matters including asylum claims, appeals, sponsorship, humanitarian and visa applications, and work and study permits.
