Immigration LawCamila Velasquez has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Université de Sherbrooke, which she combined with an MBA program. While in law school she was involved in several charitable causes, including co-writing a manual for immigrant women who are victims of domestic violence, developed in partnership with the Pro Bono organization, and she served as vice-president of the intercultural organization World University Service of Canada (WUSC). She studied abroad for a semester at Alfonso X el Sabio University in Madrid, Spain. Camila Velasquez joined Henriquez Avocats in May 2016 after graduating from a paralegal technology program, and later became a lawyer with the firm. Her practice focuses on immigration law, including asylum claims, appeals and judicial review, work and study permits, sponsorship and humanitarian applications, permanent residence, citizenship and visa matters.
