About David
David Arya is an associate in Osler's Financial Services group, where he is building experience in commercial lending, structured finance and derivatives. He joined the firm as a summer student and later returned as an articling student, rotating through the Financial Services, Tax, Insolvency and Restructuring, and Emerging and High Growth Companies groups. Before law school, David worked in the energy sector for major global engineering consulting firms and earned a bachelor of science in engineering from the University of Calgary, taking on several student leadership roles along the way. During law school at Queen's University, he was active in the Business Law Clinic, the Venture Law Society and the Tax Law Society.
